This is a horrible disease which vaccinating every 6 months can help prevent. It is sometimes stated that house rabbits are safe from the disease, this is NOT true. While they may be less susceptible due to living in an indoor environment, as it is spread by biting insects, vaccinating indoor buns is recommended
